Balanced Living Therapy LLC is an outpatient mental health and substance use agency in Edmonds, WA. We serve all sorts of people, and we take pride in keeping care as low-barrier as possible. We're also a teaching agency. Training graduate interns is a part of our work we value and take seriously, and so is the supervision that goes with it.

Graduate interns

We take graduate students for their practicum, and interns are a real part of our team. You'll see teens, and kids 6 to 12 case by case, so we look for people who are open to both. As a behavioral health agency, we ask a little more of interns than some placements do, and we meet that with attentive, caring supervision. Plan on at least one day a week in the office, since we don't offer fully telehealth placements. You'll also have the chance to run groups.

Clinicians

We hire licensed and associate-licensed Mental Health Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists, and Substance Use Disorder Professionals (SUDPs). Some roles focus on a specific population, such as first responders, so the clients you see depend on the role.
