People seek individual counseling for many reasons: depression, anxiety, grief, loss, shame, trauma, self-esteem, difficulty understanding or even identifying their emotions Sometimes, life may feel unmanageable. Counseling offers an effective way of solving problems by providing a safe, confidential environment where you can freely discuss your situation and develop the strength and insight necessary for identifying solutions and achieving a happier life.
There are times when the burdens we face are so great that it seems impossible to reconcile.
While it can be beneficial to start the process of couple's counseling at an earlier point, it is typically not until much later for many reasons. A couple may not be aware that things are reaching this critical place in their relationship or it may be very difficult to acknowledge. For these reasons, it is most often at the stage where things have become unmanageable where a couple finds themselves seeking therapy.
